Position Overview:
As an HVAC Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians to learn the ins and outs of HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role offers hands-on training opportunities and the chance to gain valuable skills in a dynamic and growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioners, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Learn to diagnose issues with HVAC systems and implement appropriate solutions under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Learn to diagnose issues with Geothermal systems and implement appropriate solutions under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Develop proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals related to HVAC systems.
- Gain knowledge of relevant safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
- Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot complex HVAC problems and provide effective solutions to clients.
- Assist with the procurement and organization of tools, equipment, and materials needed for HVAC projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment inventory, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in HVAC systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. Adams Heating & Cooling is the #1 HVAC business in the area and we are looking to expand into plumbing. The ideal candidate will install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Responsibilities:
– Install plumbing systems in new construction and existing buildings
– Inspect and repair plumbing systems to ensure functionality
– Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing
– Locate and repair issues with water supply lines, drainage systems, or fixtures
– Follow building plans and blueprints to determine the layout for plumbing systems
– Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems
– Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing
Skills:
– Proficient in construction estimating for plumbing projects
– Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work
– Mechanical aptitude with the ability to weld when necessary
– Experience in field service for troubleshooting and repairs
– Ability to perform heavy lifting when required
– Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques
– Commercial driving experience for transporting equipment/materials
– HVAC knowledge is a plus
